Facebook and MySpace are NOT Educational. Occasionally there might be a picture of a historic building or place, that a person could learn a little something, but that is not education.

Some schools are ahead of other schools and some of the students are just not informed about what kind of social networks are out there. The blog system in usd 352 is used for an educational purpose, but I think that is all it is used for because students are either occupied using other social networking sites or they are just not educated enough to know how to use the blog as a social time. Where as in a larger school the students are more likely to have a wider participation rate in a social blog.

Well I think Social Networking is educational because parents see a lot of value in it. 3 in 4 parents think social networking will help improve their kids social skills and their education. And if people don't know how to use certain sites that well it's not that hard to learn!

According to staysafe.org technology has come such a long way that now employers have been finding their future employees online! This means that what you have on your mySpace and Facebook could very well make the difference on your future job!
